Course Overview
BASIC BOOKKEEPING AND ACCOUNTING CONCEPTS
The course teaches students the basic elements of bookkeeping and accounting which are the principal way of organizing and reporting financial information. Among the topics covered are elements of the balance sheet, income measurement, and accounting records and systems. Students master the bookkeeping and accounting language where many words do not mean quite the same thing they mean in everyday life.
INTERMEDIATE BOOKKEEPING AND ACCOUNTINGCONCEPTS
The prerequisite of this course is the Basic Bookkeeping and Accounting Concepts course. Among the covered topics are the income statement, inventories and cost of sales, and liabilities and equity. Students continue mastering the bookkeeping and accounting language.
ADVANCED BOOKKEEPING AND ACCOUNTINGCONCEPTS
The prerequisite of this course is the Intermediate Bookkeeping and Accounting Concepts course. Among the covered topics are the analysis of financial statements and international financial reporting standards.
